Every time I woke up in the morning from my bed, the first thing that comes into my mind is “I am a Filipino.” The theme of this year “Buwan ng Wika” celebration is “ Tatag ng Wikang Filipino, Lakas ng pagka-Filipino” which only means one thing for me and that is the way we speak our own national language perfectly or maybe a single mistake only so that we can be called as a Filipino citizen. It is also one way of expressing ourselves to each and every one or speaks each other when we travel one place to another place in this country.
Nowadays, Filipino people don’t want to happen what happen before that they can be easily commanded by other people coming from other country. We are now brave enough to face them and show them how much we can do or even surpassing them. Just for example, we won in different competition internationally like Ms. Universe, Sports and so many more.
Even though our country is small as compared to others, we can compete all of them and be able to win it, just because we dream to aim high, fly and soar. I’m proud to be a Filipino!
