SONA is the yearly report of the president of our country the Philippines to the Filipino people about his achievements for the past year and what he will do for the present and for coming years. This report contains the real situation of our country, if it is true or not depends upon us the citizen of the Republic.
Last July 23, 2012, President Benigno Simeon Aquino III delivered his 3rd SONA at the Batasang Pambansa. In front of the people working for the government, the different consulate of other nations, the senators, congressman, the rich and the famous who belong to the upper echelon of the society, and of course to all the Filipino people infront of their TV and radio sets.
The president’s 1st SONA he tackles about the Wang-Wang and its proper uses, and the corruption of the past government. The 2nd SONA is also about the wrong doings of the past government and the achievement of the president for his 1st year in office. Now the 3rd SONA is all about the drastic change or transfiguration of our country from lame duck to roaring and powerful tiger. What is impossible is possible as the President have said.
Why I say so, because we have seen and read his report that a big reformation and build up is shaping to up to our country. In our business sector stocks are going steadily, if the different credit agencies are telling and so with other countries are talking about our economy then I can say that I approve what the President have said that we are the next roaring tiger in Asia. In Agriculture, they are also doing good, Education has a lot also to say specially the chairs, books and classrooms are already being tend to, infrastructure; roads, bridges, school buildings are now on the rise, the health department are now seeing the needs of the people, the modernization of the AFP is underway already arms and ammunition to our forces are now in the process of acquiring of soldiers pabahay program is also in the right direction. Investors are pouring in, so if this happens, jobs will be aplenty, and unemployed will be lowered.
Justice is also being serves to those who make our country in the brink of disaster, they make mockery of justice, but now the President is doing its best the correct the bad image of our justice department of bringing the culprit to the court or jail. Our territorial problems with our countries are being taken also and I admire that the government is doing all about this to avert war. They are in diplomatic talks and saying good things to our neighboring countries and also trying to seek help from other western countries, as he says the Philippines is for the Filipinos and I may add something to that, “And the Filipinos is for true world.”
The government can do all these and making the impossible, possible, with the help of the Filipino people. So we must be hand-in-hand with each other in order and I quote “It’s more fun and amazing to live in the Philippines.”
The government is now in the right track of making our country stable, dependable, spund and has a beautiful image again to the world. Kudos to our President.
